Past Perfect Continuous Tense (Hindi से English बनाने के Rules और Examples)

Past Perfect Continuous टेन्स का उपयोग लगातार जारी या चल रही क्रिया को व्यक्त करने के लिए किया जाता है जो अतीत में शुरू हुई थी और कुछ समय तक भूतकाल में जारी रही थी। लगातार समय (जैसे कुछ दिनों से, दस महीनों से, 2 साल से, बुधवार से, 2011 से, जनवरी से) हमेशा इसमें आता है। लगातार समय के संदर्भ के बिना वाक्य Past Continuous Tense के अंतर्गत आता है।

Past Perfect Continuous Tense is used to express a continued or ongoing action that began in the past and continued for sometime in the past. Continuous time (e.g. for a few days, for ten months, for 2 years, since Wednesday, since 2011, since January etc.) always comes in it. A sentence without continuous time reference belongs to the past continuous tense.

Look at the examples:

Past Continuous	मैं इस स्कूल में इंग्लिश सीख रहा था।	I was learning English in this school.
Past Continuous and Perfect	मैं तीन महीने से इस स्कूल में अंग्रेजी सीख रहा था।	I had been learning English in this school for three months.
	अंग्रेजी सीखने का समय (तीन महीने से) टेन्स बदल रहा है।	The time of learning English (for three months) is changing the tense.
Past Continuous	हम कल टीवी देख रहे थे।	We were watching TV yesterday.
	केवल ‘कल’ लगातार समय को नहीं दर्शा रहा है।	only ‘yesterday’ is not showing continuous time.
Past Continuous and Perfect	हम कल से टीवी देख रहे थे।	We had been watching TV since yesterday.
	निरंतर समय (कल से) टेन्स बदल रहा है।	Continuous time (since yesterday) is changing the tense.

Past Perfect Continuous Tense की हिन्दी में पहचान: वाक्य के अन्त में ‘रहा था’, ‘रही थी’, ‘रहे थे’ का प्रयोग होता है। Past Perfect Continuous Tense का उपयोग उस कार्य को व्यक्त करने के लिए किया जाता है जो भूतकाल में शुरु हुआ था और भूतकाल के एक निश्चित समय तक जारी रहा था। इसमें लगातार समय का प्रयोग होता है।
सकारात्मक वाक्य – सहायक क्रिया ‘Had + Been’ का प्रयोग वाक्य में किया जाता है, ‘Ing’ को मुख्य क्रिया की फर्स्ट फॉर्म के साथ जोड़ा जाता है और इसमें लगातार समय को दर्शाने के लिए ‘since/for’ का उपयोग किया जाता है।

Positive sentence – ‘Had Been’ is used, ‘Ing’ is added with the first form of Verb and ‘since/for’ is used to denote continuous time.

माली सुबह के 6 बजे से पौधों को पानी दे रहा था।	The gardener had been watering the plants since 6 a.m.
ट्रेन पांच घंटे से चल रही थी।	The train had been running for five hours.
वह 2011 से कंप्युटर हॉर्ड़वेयर का व्यापार कर रहा था।	He had been dealing in computer hardware business since 2011.
तुम पिछले 35 मिनिट से एक ही पाठ का रट्टा लगा रही थी।	You had been cramming the same lesson for the last 35 minutes.

Past Perfect Continuous Tense – Negative की हिन्दी में पहचान: वाक्य के अन्त में ‘रहा था’, ‘रही थी’, ‘रहे थे’ का प्रयोग होता है और वाक्य के बीच में ‘नही’ का प्रयोग आवश्यक है। Past Perfect Continuous Tense का उपयोग उस कार्य को व्यक्त करने के लिए किया जाता है जो भूतकाल में शुरु हुआ था और भूतकाल के एक निश्चित समय तक जारी रहा था। इसमें लगातार समय का प्रयोग होता है ।
नकारात्मक वाक्य – ‘Not’ को ‘Had’ तथा ‘Been’ के बीच में लगाते है, ‘Ing’ को मुख्य क्रिया की फर्स्ट फॉर्म के साथ जोड़ते हैं और इसमें लगातार समय को दर्शाने के लिए ‘since/for’ का उपयोग करते हैं।

Past Perfect Continuous Tense – Interrogative And Interrogative-Negative की हिन्दी में पहचान: वाक्यों के अन्त में ‘रहा था’, ‘रही थी’, ‘रहे थे’ का प्रयोग होता है और प्रश्नात्मक वाक्य के आरम्भ में ‘क्या’ का प्रयोग तथा प्रश्नात्मक और नकारात्मक वाक्य के बीच में ‘नही’ का प्रयोग भी आवश्यक है। Past Perfect Continuous Tense का उपयोग उस कार्य को व्यक्त करने के लिए किया जाता है जो भूतकाल में शुरु हुआ था और भूतकाल के एक निश्चित समय तक जारी रहा था। इसमें लगातार समय का प्रयोग होता है।
प्रश्नात्मक वाक्य – ‘Had’ से शुरु होता है, ‘Ing’ को मुख्य क्रिया की फर्स्ट फॉर्म के साथ जोड़ते हैं और इसमें लगातार समय को दर्शाने के लिए ‘since/for’ का उपयोग करते हैं। प्रश्नात्मक और नकारात्मक वाक्य – ‘Had’ से शुरु होता है। ‘Not’ को ‘Been’ से पहले लगाते हैं। वाक्य के अन्त में फुल स्टाप (.) के स्थान पर प्रश्नवाचक चिन्ह (?) लगाया जाता है। दोनो प्रकार के वाक्य के अन्त में फुल स्टाप (.) के स्थान पर प्रश्नवाचक चिन्ह (?) लगाया जाता है।

Interrogative and Negative sentence -Starts with ‘Had, ‘Not’ is added before ‘Been’, ‘Ing’ is added with the first form of the verb and ‘since/for’ is used to denote continuous time. Question Mark (?) is affixed at the end of sentence in place of Full Stop (.).
